Weekly Objective for Writing:
  • ·         Remember  that contractions doesn’t and don’t should be treated as does not and do not
    ·         Understand that titles are usually singular, even when they include plural noun
    ·         Understand that verbs must agree with subjects, even when subjects come after the verb, as in “there are” sentences and questions
    ·         Understand that there are certain words that, though ending in “s,” are considered singular- dollar amounts, for example
    ·         Understand that collectives nouns are usually singular and take singular verbs, though there are exceptions
    ·         Understand that the pronouns some, all, most, any, and none may be either singular or plural, depending on whether they refer to a quantity or a number of things individually
